Don’t worry!

The Cactus Couch isn’t literal. While i do have a couch in my office, there’s Nothing prickly going on over here! Cactus Couch counseling is more of a metaphorical name for our time and space together devoted to creating a plan and making a change that sticks. It’s time to find comfort in the uncomfortable.

Many people view life as a path. For some it’s winding. For others it’s straight and narrow. Whether your path is a walk in the park or one with many mountains or roadblocks, the truth is that for most life isn’t always easy. counseling can help us steer our course along the way. So can laughter (something i like to prescribe regularly. :)During our sessions together, I’ll keep things comfortable and casual while using therapeutic techniques pulled from dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy within a safe and confidential space. but the treatment we use will be decided upon as a team. together, we’ll customize your experience based off of your terms. We want to create a plan you can stick to!

While I very much love seeing all of my clients face-to-face, i gladly offer teletherapy for any and all of our sessions together based on your needs and wishes.
